– You should not need an accountant, a lawyer, or lobbyist to explain what your salary will be tomorrow, 2 months, or 2 years from now. 

– You should not need 2 additional night and weekend jobs to be an educator or support person in Miami.

 

 

Simple, Straightforward Stewards’ Council meetings – Give back the meetings to the Stewards and Members. 

– Restructure to allow communication from stewards and members.

Simple, Straightforward honoring of campaign pledges – when we say the elected officers will earn no more than the highest paid teachers, we mean it.  Union salaries won’t be based on theoretical degrees or NBCT designations.  Our membership is in crisis and needs leadership in touch with the hardships of each member.
