·        UTD President - Shawn Beightol – 14 year chemistry teacher, educational activist and UTD member. 5th year as UTD Steward.  National Teacher of the Year for the Ga Tech’s Southeast Consortium for Minorities in Engineering 1998. 

·        UTD First Vice President - Ceresta Smith   18 years as teacher and union member, UTD Steward, NBCT  mentor, UTD Legislative Committee, Educational Consultant and School Reform Proponent.  Member of Millennium Movers and Florida Scholastic Press Association.

·        UTD At-Large Vice Pres. – Michelle Ivy – 35 year teacher and 15 year UTD steward, a lawyer who served as chair for ABA’s Refugee Legal Assistance, Executive Director of the ACLU - State of Florida, former Teacher of the Year and DATA resident, 1st NBCT Social Studies Teacher in Miami and Master Steward at UTD.  A 15-year steward, active with the Future Leaders program, the Contract Action/ Bargaining Team, Leadership Training and  Convention Delegate for FEA, AFT and NEA,  and the design teams for PACES and I-PEGS.
